These instructions are guidelines only as all ovens vary. You might need to slightly adjust the oven temperature to that stated.
Always cook the pasties from frozen. For best results, follow the cooking instructions below.
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C (fan assisted oven), 200 degrees C (conventional oven) or gas mark 4.
Step 2
Remove all packaging. Place the pasties on non stick baking paper (not aluminium foil) on a non-stick, flat baking tray. (Do not place the pasties directly onto the baking tray). Spread the pasties evenly on the tray ensuring they are not touching. If cooking several pasties, do not attempt to put too many on one tray - multiple trays on several levels of the oven would give best results.
Step 3
Glaze the pasties with a mixture of beaten egg and milk. Place the pasties in the oven and cook for between 50 minutes and 1 hour.
For best results, allow the pasties to cool for 20 minutes before eating.
